The first 5 days were good - they seemed almost too easy, then I got a craving for bacon and fat. On day 6 it started out with the usual healthy detoxing style breakfast (this time I accelerated to Week 2) and had some miso soup with vegetables with a raw kale salad with walnuts and pomegrantes for lunch. Then I fell off the wagon. For dinner I ordered a huge ass BLT with french fries and I ATE THE WHOLE THING. And to be perfectly honest - I loved every minute of it!

After that, I did a few more detox meals, but without going into further details, just dismissed the remainder of the time. It was enough to jump start me into the routine I need to get into. I am proud of myself for making it the 6.5 days without any bad fat, sugar, caffeine, meat, and dairy. It proves that I can live without it more often, so I might try to incorporate this into my regular diet. In reflection, I know that to get where I need to be, I just need to be more diligent about what I consume, where I consume it, whether I'm over indulgent, and more importantly to not feel guilty about it. I think if I am ever to try this again, it will be under the healthier circumstances, meaning that I won't be battling a two week head cold, trying to start a workout routine, and do a detox. Now to get into the new habits. . . . .
