Part 1 of what every girl deserves to feel like the queen of her castle, the pampered princess, and really, just freaking awesome is a nice expensive (nice) piece of jewelry.  This said piece should be something that represents said diva to the fullest, something that is unique, and something that she puts aside hard earned money to buy for herself for no other reason than just to have it.  I found the particular piece a few months ago at this fabulous place in Newtonville, MA called - DIVA  which is short for Donna's Infinite Variety of Adornments. This store has pieces designed by Donna herself and lots of vintage pieces.  I tried on a piece by Cartier from the 50s, but fell in love with the set I actually ended up buying, which is a one of a kind contempary set designed by someone in New York.  Donna herself is a gem - her customer service is as equally fabulous as is  her jewelry.  Donna even went out of her way to find a bracelet that matched the choker and earrings.  I picked up the set today after having it on layway for the last few months.  No special occassion warranted. 

And the rest of the list of things I deserve in no particular order:
- A Normal Relationship with a nice guy
- A job that makes me happy and pays the bills
- Me time as much as I want it (and I don't have to feel guilty for spending Saturday evening alone)
- Travel to places - anywhere!
- Fine Wine & Good Food (by my standards - no one elses, so if I want Chicken Fingers, I'll have them and enjoy them)
- Nice people that I can trust
- Friends who understand if I need space, but who are also there when needed, and remain so after time and distance
- to not have to settle for anything or anyone
- to live by my principles whether they be right or wrong
