Keep Pluggin On


Sunday - Started my swim class. I am taking a beginning swimming class for women since it fits into my schedule. I learned to glide and float. Later I went to the Wine Expo and spent some $$ - I didn't drink any wine becuase i didn't feel well, but I bought this new apron that says "Auntie Needs a Glass of Wine." This and a new chef's knife.

Monday - Class (1st day of the other class)

Tuesday - Speedwork: 3 miles; Great work out!!
1st mile as a warmup on the treadmill: 12:05
2nd mile - Jog the corners, sprint the straights - 9:30 -10:00 min mile pace
3rd mile - Sprint the whole lap, walk 100; sprint the whole lap, walk 100
Total Time: 24:50
It really did feel great and I feel like I am getting faster and building more endurance.

Wed - Class again

Thursday - 2 miles; 23:14
Getting much faster as you can see. The weather dropped significantly and it was a tad cold to go running. (Beevo tasting at work - really liked the Hop Stoopid).

Friday - I had every intention of running this evening despite the fact that it is under 10 degrees outside, but I am literally exhausted from this week. Instead I went to the cheese shop, picked up some great English cheese, Italian cheese, and rabbit pate plus got suckered into buying a nice Italian wine, and sat down to watch A Year In Provence - Winter/Spring episode. I am struggling to kep my eyes open. Looking forward to my Pilates class tomorrow.
