Week 2 - Training (AND IT STILL HASN"T SNOWED)

Day 11 - Tonight's night - this is me about halfway through the nights run (1.5 miles to go)

Day 10 - Me trying to be a multi-tasker and speak to my parents and do research/writing at the same time.

Day 9 - My first day back at the gym!

Day 8 - Had to skip working out, but came home to prepare the delicous pasta dish with fennel and tomatoes. (With goat cheese!)

The weather gods must be smiling on me because here it is December 4th and no snow. I thought New England was supposed to have a bunch. (Now I prolly jinxed myself). With no snow, this means fantastic running weather. I didn't get out as much during the week because things are busy at work with the holiday season and I have two term papers to write. Nothing like a little procrastination to get your blood flowing.

Breakdown of this week's workouts:
Day 7 - Have class, nuff said
***
Day 8 - Had to skip the workout because I didn't feel like it, I had to decorate the hotel for the holidays, and I didn't feel like it. Instead I came home, made pasta, and completed the 400 page dissertation that I had to read.

Day 9 -
Miles: 2.75 total (I ran to the gym, worked out, then ran back to the hotel)
Time: Not sure how accurate
(I think I need to start doing this on Tuesday night and incoroprate small run with weight training)
So then I did some arms and legs (which I still feel today) and did 3x12 on the arms and 2x10 with the legs. They got all new machines at the gym, so of course I had to spend some time figuring that out.

Day 10 -
Once again - I had to work late for two clients and decided I should stay and get some hard core research done for my paper.
***
Day 11 -
Miles: 3.11 miles today! If I were to run a 5K right now, I would complete it in 41 minutes, which is still a little too slow for me. I need to kick it up a notch - we'll see on the long run this weekend, which is 3 miles again.
Great weather and I tested out all the flashing lights I got for running in the dark.
I also realized that it is a little dangerous to run off the trail and onto the dirt when I tripped on a tree root and almost broke my ankle.
