Sunday (the last day of Week 5); I arrived back from Michigan exhausted and hungry, so I did what every good girl should - I ordered a calzone and some wings. The calzone I ordered was freaking huge - so it became my dinner for the next two days.

Monday - 12/28 - Went to the gym to life weights.

Tuesday - 12/29 - grr. sick again. Took the night off to sleep.

Wednesday - 12/30; went to the gym to do speedwork. Total of 2 miles
Ran 3 lap warm up on the indoor track, then 4 laps of jog the corners, run the straights, walked a lap, then sprinted 4 laps with 200m walks in between. Then lifted more weights. I really like the lifting of weights - I just really need to focus on doing this more than once a week. Need to keep at it to do two-three times a week in order to see a payoff. Also, starting soon, I need to add serious abs to my workout. This is always hard for me.

Thursday - 12/31; so proud of myself for running 4 miles in 2 inches of snow!!! It was my fastest 5k time - 34:31 (which means I was booking it). Overall time for 4 miles was 45:54, which once again is one of the fastest times I've had. This would be 11:38 time - which is the ideal time I want for the 1/2. Maybe it was the speedwork, maybe it was the snow and ice, maybe it was the fact that my feet got wet at mile 2, but whatever it was - let's have it happen again.
